Privacy
policy.
This document describes how I handle personal data you send me through the contact form on matejkrcka.com. It follows the EU General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679 — GDPR) and Czech Act No. 110/2019 Coll. on personal data processing.
1. Who processes your data
Matěj Krčka, sole trader (OSVČ) based in the Czech Republic.
Email: [email protected]
Phone: +420 607 126 302
I have no appointed Data Protection Officer (DPO) — it's not required by law, as I don't process personal data on a large scale. For anything regarding your data, contact me directly.
2. What data I collect and why
When you write to me through the form, I process:
- name — so I know how to address you;
- phone and/or email — so I can get back to you;
- your message — so I understand what I can help with.
I don't collect any other data through the form. If you voluntarily share other information in your message, I'll only use it to respond to you.
3. Legal basis
- Consent — when submitting the form, you tick a box to consent that I may contact you. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing me.
- Performance of a contract / pre-contractual measures — when you request a specific project, I need your data to prepare an offer.
4. How long I keep your data
- If no cooperation arises from the inquiry: maximum 6 months, then I delete the data.
- If we do work together: for the duration of cooperation and afterwards for the statutory archiving period (usually 5 years under Czech accounting law).
5. Who I share your data with
I never sell or rent your data. For running the site and communication I use these processors:
- Web hosting — servers in the EU.
- Email services — to deliver your message to my inbox.
- Google Fonts — loading fonts from Google's CDN may log your IP address (anonymously, without cookies).
All processors are bound by data protection agreements and comply with GDPR. I don't transfer your data outside the EU.
6. Cookies and tracking
This site uses no tracking or marketing cookies. No Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or similar tools.
7. Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to:
- know what data I hold about you (right of access);
- have it corrected or completed;
- have it deleted (right to be forgotten);
- restrict its processing;
- receive it in a portable format;
- object to processing;
- withdraw consent at any time;
- file a complaint with the Czech Personal Data Protection Office or your local supervisory authority.
Just email [email protected] — I'll handle it within 30 days, usually much sooner.
8. Security
The site runs on HTTPS, so communication between you and the server is encrypted. Your data is stored in a password-protected environment and only I have access to it.
9. Changes
I may update this policy at any time — the current version is always on this page. The date of last update is at the bottom.
